We make sure all our new patients feel welcome, safe, and taken care of. During your first visit to Helderberg Dental Surgery, a dentist will review your dental and medical history. For diagnosis, they will examine your teeth and take X-rays of your mouth. From there, the dentist will explain any issues and help you choose options for treatment. Once treatment has agreed upon, a treatment plan and cost estimate will be provided, and once accepted treatment will commence.
Our financial policy:
The Helderberg Dental Practice is a fee for service practice, which means that after each visit the account for that day is settled. After the initial consultation, a cost estimate is provided for each patient. Patients can then submit the estimate to their medical insurers for authorization; this will let them know which portion of the services will be covered by their insurer. Please note that patients are always responsible for their accounts, irrespective of wether or not their insurers reimburse them.
