Any Parent's Nightmare

Recently, we helped a young patient who cracked two of his (brand new) front teeth playing at school. Fortunately, we could conservatively restore the teeth, but the teeth are permanently damaged and will need repeated treatment and management for the rest of the patient’s life.

You only get one chance with your teeth to keep them healthy and whole. Wearing a well-fitting mouthguard reduces or even prevents damage to teeth, as well as protecting against soft-tissue injuries and concussion. Ensure that you play safe, especially if your kids engage in contact sports. Professionally made mouth-guards fit better, protect better and can be made quickly and conveniently by any dentist and dental hygienist.
